About the River’s Edge Brass Band
Based in Cincinnati, the River’s Edge Brass Band (REBB) is a premier British-style brass ensemble made up of some of the region’s finest brass and percussion musicians—many of whom are professional performers or educators at local high schools and colleges. Unlike traditional American brass groups, British Brass Bands feature cornets instead of trumpets and tenor horns instead of French horns, creating a rich and uniquely warm sound. The ensemble also includes a full percussion section for dynamic and compelling performances.
The band performs under the direction of Dr. Kevin Michael Holzman, a conductor known for his musical excellence and leadership in the Cincinnati arts community.
