Maple Sugaring: From Sap to Sweetness!

Ladies…..It’s Maple Sugarin’ Time at Cincinnati Parks' Caldwell Nature Preserve! Through engaging and educational stations, participants with Women Sharing the Outdoors group will experience the arts and traditions of tapping a maple tree and view the boiling process / evaporator in action!
The program also provides a history of Native American and Pioneer traditions plus techniques for capturing, collecting, and cooking of maple syrup. Lots of tasting...Yummy!
Most activities occur outdoors so dress for the weather! Program entirety lasts about 1 ½ hours from your start to finish. The $8 non-refundable fee per person helps to cover expenses of program fees.
