Join Luminarts Cultural Foundation and StoryStudio Chicago in The Union League Club of Chicago Library for the StoryStudio Chicago Emerging Writer Awards. This award recognizes and spotlights talented emerging writers singled out by their graduate programs or by Luminarts. This event is free and open to the public!
Luminarts Cultural Foundation cultivates Chicago’s vibrant arts community by supporting exemplary emerging artists through its competitive programs that offer financial awards, artistic opportunities, and mentoring that bridge the gap between education and career.
Stories Matter Foundation is the umbrella organization for StoryStudio Chicago, Chicago Stories Project, Chicago Review of Books, and the Chicago Writers Podcast. Our job is to spark creativity, keep imaginations flowing, and help our writers and storytellers throughout the region and beyond to navigate the process of writing and publishing.

Please note that the Union League Club requires “smart casual” attire. Smart casual may include jeans, denim, and collar-less shirts.
