Looking for a meaningful way to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.? Join Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana (GCNWI) for a special MLK celebration and Share the Warmth Collection Drive at the Kroc Center on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
This inspiring drop-off event is open to all kids in grades K-12, whether you’re a Girl Scout or not! Participants will celebrate Dr. King’s legacy through creative and service-based activities like crafting dream catchers, designing vision boards and writing heartfelt poems. They’ll also give back to the community by packing hats, gloves and scarves to be donated to local schools, libraries and churches donated from the Share the Warmth Collection Drive.
Come together to enjoy snacks and community, leaving with a fun, MLK service patch and with a deeper connection to Dr. King’s dream. Click here to register today to secure your spot.
