Kathleen Rooney, author of From Dust to Stardust, shares silent film star Colleen Moore’s story, bringing this artist back into the spotlight through her historical fiction. Moore created a unique dollhouse, which toured to raise money for children during the Great Depression, and later came to the Museum of Science and Industry as The Fairy Castle. The author shows how hope, wonder, cinema, philanthropy, and art can re-enchant a disenchanted world.
