Gustave Caillebotte: Painting His World
A new exhibit, currently at the Musee d’Orsay, will open at the Art Institute in 2025. Dr. Gloria Groom will give us a behind-the-scenes look at the challenges in putting together an exhibition. She will explore the thesis of the exhibition and offer new insights into the Caillebotte' s sense of brotherhood the importance of belonging that Caillebotte experienced with the friends, family and others who made up his world.
