R(Oil) Tea Party
Join the Kehrein Center for the Arts Foundation November 16th at 10 AM as they partner with Roots & Fire Water, Splyt -N- Half and Azadhi to curate a cultural and artistic experience for the 100+ Black Women and their Allies. The R(oil) Tea Party delves into healing and therapeutic properties of various forms of oil and herbs.
We'll host engaging demonstrations on crafting and utilizing essential oils and elixirs, cooking with avocado, grapeseed, and coconut oils, and our day will culminate in a delightful oil painting session that promises relaxation and creativity.
We will also feature a panel discussion addressing both the blessings and burdens of caring for others while tending to our own needs. Together, we will reflect on the important question: "Who is holding my cup while I hold others?" This gathering will be an opportunity to build connections and discover ways to prioritize self-care as the foundation for our collective journey toward liberation and community empowerment through arts and cultural experiences.
