Chicago Circus and Performing Arts Festival

Yes Ma’am Circus, Chicago-based circus company, announces the return of the annual Chicago Circus and Performing Arts Festival (CCPAF). Now entering its fourth year, this festival celebrates the incredible talent of Chicago circus artists and performers. From Friday April 11th to Sunday, April 13th at The Atria (3146 W. Chicago Avenue), circus and dance companies will amaze and astonish audiences of all ages in shows themed around the environment. This year, CCPAF has ten shows over the three days, showcasing artistic groups such as Wild Card Circus, a new circus company started in 2024, where the “jack of all trade” artists will present acrobatics, aerial straps, juggling, and aerial lyra in solo, duo, and group acts. In the Circus Shorts Part 1, circus performers Laura Torres and Carmen Kingsley will present a performance based on Chilean poet Pablo Neruda’s Book of Questions. Other performances include the annual Amazing Prizzini Brothers’ cabaret show in which artists all over Chicago and the United States will bring the vim and vigor to their artforms. No performing arts and circus festival is complete without stage magic; James will astonish audiences with The Magic of Humans. In addition to individual shows, Saturday night will feature the first-ever Fashion Night- where sustainability meets style. The night will be filled with circus performances, dance, eco-friendly fashion, and a great after party.
