The Chicago Women's History Center is honored to host the second annual conference on Chicago Women’s History at Roosevelt University on Saturday, March 21, 2026. This conference brings activists, advocates, researchers, scholars and writers from our diverse community to participate and engage in a full day of panels, workshops, and discussions dedicated to the historical and contemporary circumstances that impact and shape women’s lives. Last year we explored the theme Past and Present Strategies to Advance the Rights of Women and this year we are looking at the broader theme of Women’s Health Justice. lack Metropolis Research Consortium (BMRC), Evanston History Center, and the Women and Leadership Archives at Loyola University. We are also thrilled to partner with DePaul University who will be designing the conference material. Additional sponsors; include Skyline Village Chicago who are supporting scholarship places for early-career student historians, researchers, and writers to attend the conference.
