Sketches of Spain: Revisited
This special concert will feature two additional compositions by CJP artistic director and composer Orbert Davis that incorporate traditional African and Middle Eastern instruments. These modifications to the ensemble’s orchestration create an intimate yet powerful soundscape, transporting audiences to a different world — one filled with passion, emotion, and cultural depth.
During the performance, audiences will experience a rich tapestry of sounds rooted in Spanish culture, seamlessly blending classical aesthetics with jazz sensibilities.
