Legendary producer Bryan Rabin is bringing his iconic party, Giorgio’s Discotheque™, to the Windy City presented by Jam, Save Live, and Orlove by Night for an unforgettable night of disco, fashion, and dancing on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Park West (322 W. Armitage Ave., Chicago, IL 60614).
Named in honor of Rabin’s close friend, disco icon and multi-Grammy ™ and Oscar™-winning composer Giorgio Moroder, Giorgio’s Discotheque™ has been one of the most exclusive and stylish dance parties, attracting a global mix of Hollywood elite and the international jet set.
Giorgio’s Discotheque™ makes its highly anticipated Chicago debut this December, bringing with it a rich legacy of legendary performances from both heritage and contemporary acts. Over the years, the party has featured everyone from Giorgio Moroder and the captivating Dita Von Teese to disco legends like Cerrone and Grammy-winning Jody Watley. Contemporary acts such as Yacht and Aeroplane, alongside jazz-funk legend Roy Ayers, have also graced its stage, solidifying Giorgio’s Discotheque™ as a beacon for music and nightlife royalty.
Notable guests who have danced the night away at Giorgio’s include Mick Jagger, Leonardo DiCaprio, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sofia Vergara, Naomi Campbell, Bradley Cooper, Lenny Kravitz, Beyonce, Jay Z, Debbie Harry, Boy George, and many more, including the iconic Giorgio Moroder himself.
Dombresky’s Disco Dom will headline the night, bringing his '70s-inspired beats and high-energy sets to the stage. Known for electrifying performances at festivals like Coachella and EDC, Disco Dom channels the golden age of Studio 54, making him the perfect choice to light up Giorgio’s Discotheque™. His latest single, “Inferno (No. 2 ) leads his Inferno mini-tour, a celebration of his transformative disco style, including a recent remix of Taylor Swift’s “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart.”
For Bryan Rabin, the night represents a special homecoming. “It’s been a childhood dream to host a show at Park West,” says Rabin, who grew up in Northbrook. Rabin, the son of Marty and Pauline Rabin, founders of NY Bagels & Bialys, also has a background as a figure skater, representing Skokie Valley SCat three consecutive US National Figure Skating Championships and winning two Midwestern free skating titles. “Park West holds a lot of history, and bringing Giorgio’s here feels like a perfect full-circle moment.”
Adding to the evening’s allure, the dazzling Diamondback Annie will deliver two unforgettable burlesque numbers, including a KISS-inspired routine set to “I Was Made for Loving You” and a tribute to Macho Man Randy Savage set to “Macho Man”—both in custom Bob Mackie costumes that promise high fashion and theatrical flair.
