Naperville Noon Lions 5K Turkey Trot
The Naperville Noon Lions Club will host its 27th annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning starting at 8:00 a.m. Registration is now open. This is a chip timed race with awards given to the top three overall male and female finishers as well as the top three finishers in each age group. Runners, walkers, running strollers and special needs runners are welcome. No dogs (except guide and service dogs) or other animals. All proceeds go to benefit individuals with vision, hearing and disbetes issues. Proceeds also support local agencies including veterans' organizations as well as agencies fighting hunger and homelessness. The race is limited to the first 7,800 registrants. Only on-line registration will be accepted. Packet pick up will be at the Running Company Store in downtown Naperville on November 23,24,25,26 and 27 and at Naperville Central High School on race day starting at 7:00 a.m.
