Experience the New “WhirlWind” Exhibit at the Kohl Children’s Museum

Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago announces the addition of an all-new “WhirlWind” exhibit designed to provide young visitors with the opportunity to explore the power of wind and air. Created by the team at Kohl’s Children Museum, each component of “WhirlWind” promotes collaborative play and learning while helping children build their teamwork skills. Guests can balance balls on streams of air at the Bernoulli Blower station to explore the Bernoulli Principle of velocity and pressure. At the Fly like a Bird station, green screen technology allows guests to see themselves flying high in the sky. Additional stations encourage learning through visual tracking, force and motion, cause and effect and trial and error.
