An Evening with Sandra Cisneros: A Life in Words, A Legacy in Stories
Josephinum Academy of the Sacred Heart welcomes alum Sandra Cisneros back home to share her insights and journey as a globally acclaimed author and poet. The event will also include a reading from her poetry collection,"Woman Without Shame" and a Q&A session. Ms. Cisneros has been honored with many prestigious awards and has just been named the recipient of the 2025 Harold Washington Literary Award and headliner for this year's Printers Row Lit Fest. Her passion for life and story-telling is sure to energize and inspire writers and non-writers alike. All ticket proceeds benefit Josephinum's student scholarship programs.
