May Day Outdoor Exhibit -Free!

Join the Historical Society of Forest Park in commemorating May Day at the Haymarket Martyrs Monument. This year, we have expanded our tribute with a greater number of biographies about the radical figures of Radical Row, displayed at individual graves throughout the Radical Row. Visitors can explore the history of the Haymarket Affair and its lasting impact through these informative signs, which will be on display from April 25 to May 4, weather permitting. On May 1, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the Historical Society of Forest Park will be at the Haymarket Monument to share free historical information and offer books for sale. At noon, we will hold a brief program to present this year's Mark Rogovin: Working Class Heroes Award. Can't make it in person? Take our virtual tour. **Forest Home Cemetery is an active cemetery please be considerate of those visiting loved ones and workers by parking in the lot behind the off at the Desplaines entrance**
