Hybridizing theatre, performance art, and dance, Genesis’s work experiments with the boundaries of live performance. After a sold-out and acclaimed run at the Color Club in 2023, Genesis is remounting there are no dead people for 4 nights only at the Chicago Athletic Association. Conceived and directed by Amanda Dunne Acevedo & Lindsey Barlag Thornton and devised with guest artists Carol Crosby, Holly Gabelmann, Jordan Harris, Alex Hovi, Grace Needlman, and Lauren Steinberg.
