Walking Tour of Riverside, National Historic Landmark
Explore the unique Frederick Law Olmsted designed village and landscape of Riverside, a place of history and architectural gems. See homes and structures designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, William LaBaron Jenney, Howard Van Doren Shaw, and many others. Located along the banks of the Des Plaines River, visitors will walk along gently curving streets and sidewalks adorned by romantic gas lamps. In addition to the beautiful sights, learn about the interesting residents of the past 150 years. Tours depart from the Riverside Train Station.
