Molina Healthcare of IL & Bethany United Church of Christ Host Thanksgiving Food Giveaway | Freeport
Molina Healthcare of Illinois (“Molina”), together with Bethany United Church of Christ, will host their second annual Thanksgiving drive-thru food giveaway in Freeport to celebrate the holiday. During the event, 200 community members will receive a grocery bag containing green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, gravy, mac and cheese, cake mix, cake frosting, stuffing mix, and cranberry sauce. In addition to the bag of groceries, participants will also receive a turkey or ham, while supplies last.
With over 13% of Stephenson County residents facing food insecurity, the holidays can be stressful. Through this event, Molina hopes to make an impact on local families in need of a nutritious, accessible meal this holiday season. This initiative is just one component of Molina’s work to build stronger, healthier communities.
