About us:
The Salt Creek Watershed Network is a nonprofit organization made up of residents who live in communities bordering the Salt Creek Watershed from Elk Grove Village to Lyons where the waterway joins the Des Plaines River. We sponsor cleanups and support efforts to raise public awareness of our environmental challenges. We have recently been recognized at the 13th annual Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Sustainability Summit, and by the Illinois Governor’s Hometown Award for public service.
