5th Annual GLI Charity Carfest

The air in Glenview is about to get a little more electric—and a lot more meaningful. On Sunday, May 17, 2026, the pavement of Railroad Avenue will transform into a world-class gallery of automotive excellence for the 5th Annual Glenview Luxury Imports Charity Carfest. What began as a dream in 2021 has evolved into a cornerstone community event, blending the thrill of exotic machinery with a deep-rooted mission to support those who serve us every day. As we reach this five-year milestone, the invitation is open to everyone: from the die-hard "petrolhead" to families looking for a spectacular Sunday afternoon. More Than Just a Car Show: A Family Festival This year’s 5th-anniversary celebration is our most ambitious yet, designed to be an immersive experience for all ages. While the "big kids" admire the chrome, we have plenty to keep the little ones engaged: Meet Our Local Heroes: A highlight of the day is the chance for kids to visit with local first responders. They can get an up-close look at the incredible equipment and vehicles our police and fire departments use to keep Glenview safe. It’s a rare opportunity to sit in the driver’s seat of a real fire truck or police cruiser and say "thank you" to the men and women behind the uniform. Unique Artistry: Incredible creations for the kids from masterful face painting of GAWI to the one-of-a-kind balloon art of Smarty Pants. Live Music by Brass From The Past: We are thrilled to welcome Brass From The Past to the main stage. Known as the "hottest horn band in the Midwest," they’ll be providing a high-energy soundtrack of Motown, R&B, and soul hits that will have the whole crowd moving. A Field of Dreams on Railroad Ave The stretch between Dewes and Glenview Road becomes a sanctuary for rare and remarkable vehicles. Attendees can expect a "sneak peek" at a diverse lineup including the Italian soul of a 2026 Ferrari 296 GTS, the rugged heritage of a 1966 Ford Shelby GT350 Restomod, and the timeless elegance of a 1966 Jaguar E-Type. Whether it’s 18 feet of American steel or the precision of a 2007 Porsche GT3 RS, there is something to spark nostalgia in every visitor.
