Strides For Peace: Annual Gun Violence Prevention Expo
Strides For Peace's Annual Gun Violence Prevention Expo will take place at UIC’s Dorin Forum (725 W Roosevelt Rd) on Thursday, November 21st, from 10-5p.
This year’s Gun Violence Prevention Expo, "Legacy of Leadership: Inspiring the Next Generation to Rise," connects high school students with young adult community leaders (ages 21-35) through panel discussions, hands-on breakout sessions like Stop The Bleed, and peace circle training.
The event will once again include a resource fair to galvanize the collective effort of Chicago’s community partners. Participating organizations include colleges, career development organizations, and more.
