41st Annual Printers Row Lit Fest, from September 12-13, in Chicago's South Loop


Now in its 41st year, the Chicago Printers Row Lit Fest is the Midwest’s largest and longest running, free outdoor literary festival, bringing together nationally acclaimed and Chicago area authors, including legendary author Scott Turow, PBS NewsHour co-anchor Geoff Bennett, plus eight Pulitzer Prize winners, NY Times and USA Today bestsellers, emerging writers, independent booksellers, publishers, and thousands of readers of all ages for a weekend celebrating books, ideas, and storytelling in Chicago’s historic Printers Row neighborhood. The annual event on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, from 10am-6pm at South Dearborn Street, between Ida B. Wells and Polk Street, features author discussions, book signings, panel conversations, children's storytelling and parade, poetry, and hundreds of exhibitors showcasing new, used, rare, and collectible books. and more.
