Chicagoland Spring Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K
This is a road race run through Busse Woods and the streets of Schaumburg's commercial district, with all routes entirely on road or paved trail. Runners can choose from three distances: a full marathon (26.2 miles), half marathon (13.1 miles), or 10K.
Both the marathon and half marathon are USATF-certified courses, and the marathon serves as a Boston Marathon qualifier — making it a serious option for runners chasing a BQ time. The race is chip-timed, with waved starts and generous course time limits (6 hours for the marathon, 3.5 hours for the half), so it welcomes both competitive runners and walkers/joggers.
The course is conveniently located near I-90 and I-355, about 35 minutes from downtown Chicago and 20 minutes from O'Hare — putting it right in the heart of Chicagoland, surrounded by hotels, restaurants, and shopping.
