Two of Chicago's most exciting mom-and-pop neighborhood restaurants are teaming up, swapping fan-favorite recipes for a fundraising, cross-cultural menu collaboration during April to benefit the Irving Park Community Food Pantry — introducing Bite Club! Wurst Behavior — the craft sausage house and beer garden by Polish restaurateur couple Chef Art Wnorowski and Gosia Pieniazek (Na Zdrowie Hospitality) — is collaborating with Mexican chef Ivan Valdez and his taqueria, Taquizas Valdez, to create two brand-new fusion menu items in support of the pantry’s mission to alleviate food insecurity on Chicago's Northwest Side. Throughout April, Chicago foodies can visit Wurst Behavior to try Chef Art’s crispy beef birria pierogi, or stop by Taquizas Valdez for a bangin' andouille sausage Cali-style breakfast burrito by Chef Ivan. One dollar from every Bite Club item sold will be donated to the Irving Park Community Food Pantry.
