This December, Chicago’s pastry community is baking up something extraordinary, a holiday event where every cookie collected helps fund research for kids battling cancer.
On Sunday, December 14, Cookies for Kids’ Cancer will host Chicago’s first-ever Cookie Market at The Christmas Club in Wrigleysville bringing together 40 of the city’s top pastry chefs for a festive day of giving. Treats from legends, such as Gale Gand and Mindy's Bakery, and from the most exciting new bakeries of 2025, like Del Sur and Cafe Yaya will be there.
Guests will fill their boxes with two dozen gourmet cookies, sip, mingle and celebrate the spirit of the season, all while raising critical funds for pediatric cancer research.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports more than 40 leading pediatric oncology programs, including Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and the University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center. Funding helps cover the cost of enrolling children in early-phase clinical trials.
