Join (X) Collective for the April Mosaic Series! The April GAME NIGHT gathering will center BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) theatre artists and take place in person on Saturday, April 25, from 6 PM - 9 PM at Walls Turned Sideways in East Garfield Park. In this moment, it's easy to stay busy but harder to slow down and simply be in community. This evening is designed to do just that. Join fellow BIPOC theatre artists for a relaxed night of low-stakes fun. No product. No pressure. Just good games, good conversation, and the chance to laugh, reconnect, and meet new people in a welcoming space. Community partners include Walls Turned Sideways, Mud Theatre Project, and Arts Administrators of Color Cost: Pay What You Can (No one will be turned away) Registration is required: givebutter.com/mosaic-series ABOUT THE MOSAIC SERIES The Mosaic Series is a series of rotating gatherings designed to foster connections amongst theatre artists who have been historically excluded and denied access to space, resources, and opportunities (For example: Black, Indigenous, and People of Color; LGBTQ; individuals with disabilities). Each gathering focuses on a different identity, allowing for specificity of conversation and deeper affinity. Additionally, these gatherings provide space for open conversation, allowing historically excluded theatre artists to name the challenges they face in the theatre world and identify what resources would be helpful to support them.
