Jenny Bienemann is a singer-songwriter as well as an award-winning poet and visual artist on a mission to find the extraordinary in the everyday.
What began as a daily practice of pairing photographs with haiku grew into Haiku Milieu, a vibrant, exciting ecosystem of creativity and community.
Today, it includes five books, a concert series, songwriting prompts that have inspired more than 500 new songs by artists across the U.S., and a Sunday Morning email reaching readers around the world. Her book “Sundays with Jenny” won the Poetry category in the International Book Festival and the New York Book Fest.
Her music has underscored TV, film, and theatre projects, and she’s been on staff at The Old Town School of Folk Music and Lamb’s Retreat for Songwriters. Known for her finger style guitar playing, she weaves music, poetry, and visual art into immersive, intimate performances that foster connection, reflection, and joy.
