Trinity welcomes Dr. Heath W. Carter, Associate Professor of American Christianity of PhD Studies, at Princeton Theological Seminary, for our Gilchrist Weekend. Dr. Carter's work focuses on Social Christianity and the Social Gospel, as well as the rise of Christian Nationalism. We are excited to have him with us. Faithful Witness in Dangerous & Deeply-Divided Times. Sunday morning topic during Sunday School and Worship will be, The Sense of Our Small Effort: Stories that Stoke Hope for the Way Forward from Here. This event is named for Pat and Katie Gilchrist, two of Trinity's charter members, and endowed from funds given in their honor by their family, including Pressly and Nancy Gilchrist Millen.
