Children’s Home Society is excited to announce our inaugural event An Evening with Two Piano Journey: A Benefit Concert for Children’s Home Society on Saturday, November 16th at The Ruth in Charlotte. This event has been designed around the musical talents of critically acclaimed concert pianists Michelle Chen Kuo & her son, Christopher Kuo. To make their debut in the Carolinas, Two Piano Journey is partnering with CHS to raise funds & awareness for programs that benefit thousands of children & families across North Carolina. The audience will be inspired by the music of Two Piano Journey & stories of our families. You won’t want to miss this musical showcase of talent and family.
Christopher was inspired to launch Two Piano Journey in 2016 to give his mother a chance to live her performance dreams after she sacrificed her career to raise her children. Michelle Chen Kuo is a critically acclaimed concert pianist, teacher, and philanthropist. Michelle’s formative years as a pianist began in her native Taiwan, where she graduated with the highest achievement from Kuang-Jen Music School and went on to win the Taiwan National Piano Competition three years consecutively at the age of 16.
