Running the same week as our Summer Band Camp, this Band 101 Camp is designed for rising 6th-8th graders who are interested in learning an instrument for the first time.
We’ll spend the week learning the basics of our instruments, how to take care of them, starting technique and all the fundamentals you need to get started successfully on a new musical journey, including the basics of reading sheet music. This camp is perfect for students who have never been in a band before or who have some band experience but want to change instruments.
Available instruments: Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, and Percussion.
