Join us for an event on the museum grounds at the Kings Mountain Historical Museum on Saturday May 10th, 2025, for World War II Day. Step back in time into the camps of World War II. There will be various displays and reenactors on site to talk and interact with the museum guests about the US Military involvement during the European Theater of Operations. The main focus of this living history event will focus on the Airborne Operations (Parachute Infantry Regiment) during World War II. Various uniforms, gear, weapons, demolitions equipment and communications equipment will be on display outside on the museum grounds.
Additionally, we will have the Barber House open to the public with WWII cooking demonstrations with Susie Worcester.
Presented by the 508th Headquarters-Headquarters P.I.R. of the 82nd Airborne Division.
