Discovering Strings and Art Camp
With a focus on violin or cello, students will lay the foundation to play an instrument—it's amazing what skills they can learn in just one week! Ignite creativity and strengthen academic skills with a wide variety of fun activities including singing, music and movement, an introduction to each member of the string instrument family, painting, collage, collaborative 3D projects, and more. This camp is designed for children in rising grades K-5, but campers are grouped by age level, allowing for different projects, activities, and curricular goals. Each day we will enjoy open recreation time with games and integrative S.T.E.A.M. activities, allowing your budding artist to experience all the advantages that the arts have to offer. Families can share in the fun at the Camp Concert and Showcase, held on the final afternoon of each session.
