Join us on February 22 from 12:00 – 3:00 pm for The Charleston Museum’s 2025 Annual Oyster Roast! Enjoy an incredible view of the Stono River at the Dill Sanctuary while you listen to live music with The Blue Plantation Band, shuck oysters, eat delicious barbecue and the perfect sides from Rappahannock Oyster Bar, and enjoy sweet treats from Bennie the Treat Truck and Charleston Sugar Studio. Attendees are also invited to join Museum Curators for a guided tour of Battery Pringle. Bring your appetites, your coolers (this event is BYOB), your chairs and blankets, and join us for a perfect day in the Lowcountry. The Dill Sanctuary, a wildlife sanctuary, is only open to the public for select programs with The Charleston Museum.
Please note that the Dill Sanctuary Oyster Roast is BYOB.
Due to the nature of the wildlife sanctuary, pets are not permitted on the property.
Reservations required. Tickets are required for ages 2 and up. Tickets are all-inclusive and include admission to the Dill Sanctuary, live music, sandwich, sides, oysters, desserts and a guided tour of Battery Pringle. Please note: the walking tour of Battery Pringle will be approximately .5 miles and is an “off-road” location with steep inclines and unprepared terrain. Closed-toed shoes are required. Walking shoes/boots are recommended.
