Murder Mystery Tea
The Speakeasy Scandal: A Roaring Twenties Tea Affair
SHOT FULL OF HOLES
It’s 1928... and welcome to Ruby’s Place, a popular speakeasy.
Tonight, we gather for a celebration of the life of Vito “The Gut” Marzetti, who was gunned down last week in a most unfortunate gangland slaying.
As a dear friend of Vito’s, you have been invited to pay your respects to the family:
Joey “The Lump” Marzetti, the youngest son — a bootlegger by trade... though not overly bright.
Ruby “Fingers” Marzetti, Joey’s sister and manager of the speakeasy — a former showgirl who is street-wise, sharp, and always listening.
Frankie “Marbles” Marzetti, the eldest of the three — a curious fellow who rarely reveals his true personality, preferring instead to hide behind an assortment of carefully crafted alter egos.
And Lena Marzetti, the grieving young widow. Despite their difference in age — and the fact that Vito tipped the scales at nearly 300 pounds — they seemed happy enough.
If you wish, please be prepared to offer a short eulogy for poor Vito. He did enjoy being the center of attention.
A prize will be awarded for the finest Roaring Twenties attire. (Vito would insist upon it.)
And one final request from the house...
No G-Men.
That means you, Special Agent D. Farmer.
