Begin—or expand—your yoga practice with The Yoga Sanctuary’s 6-week Foundations of Yoga Series. This program is perfect for those who are brand new to the practice, and for current students looking to strengthen their foundations, broaden their understanding, and confidently move from one level of practice to the next. No flexibility required—you don’t even have to be able to touch your toes!
With a small class size limited to just eight students, you’ll receive personalized guidance in a warm, supportive environment. From your very first step into the studio, we’ll guide you through the essentials of attending a TYS Level 1 yoga class and beyond with comfort and confidence.
Throughout the series, you’ll learn how to approach postures in a way that maximizes effectiveness and minimizes risk, explore fundamental principles of yoga philosophy, and discover practical ways to adapt poses for your body with and without props—whether you’re managing an injury, stiffness, or simply curious about alignment. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or seeking a deeper, clearer understanding of your practice, this series offers a way to build a strong foundation to help you grow.
