Eat the weeds in your backyard
10:30 to 11:30 a.m. May 23 at Bonita Springs Public Library, 10560 Reynolds St., Bonita Springs. Join Amanda Adams, a local forager and Florida Master Naturalist, to discover the edible and medicinal plants growing in your backyard. Adams will discuss how to identify common edible plants, which parts of the plants can be consumed and general best practices for foraging. The indoor presentation will last approximately one hour with an optional outdoor walk afterward to view some of the plants discussed in person. Space is limited. Advance ticket purchase required.
