Back by popular demand, Stars of the Sixties LIVE returns to Fort Myers, Florida on Thursday, March 26, 2026, bringing together some of the most iconic hitmakers of the 1960s for one incredible night of classic pop and rock ’n’ roll.
Headlining the evening are The Grass Roots, one of the most successful American bands of the era. In the entire history of rock and roll, only nine bands have charted more hits on Billboard’s Hot 100. The Grass Roots charted 29 singles, including 13 gold records, followed by 2 gold albums and 1 platinum album, with over 20 million records sold worldwide. Fans will hear favorites like “Midnight Confessions,” “Temptation Eyes,” “I’d Wait a Million Years,” “Live for Today,” and “Sooner or Later.”
Joining them are The Buckinghams, once named “the most listened-to band in America”. Their string of 7 national chart hits, 15 singles, and 8 acclaimed albums includes classics such as “Kind of a Drag,” “Don’t You Care,” “Susan,” “Hey Baby! They’re Playing Our Song,” and “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy.”
Also appearing are The Cowsills, one of the most beloved family bands of the ’60s, performing timeless hits like “The Rain, The Park & Other Things,” “Indian Lake,” “We Can Fly,” and “Hair.”
Rounding out the lineup is special guest Chris Ruggiero, the PBS-TV star and one of the most requested artists in Stars of the Sixties audience surveys, appearing in his only area performance of the season.
Don’t miss this one-night-only reunion featuring the biggest stars of the 1960s — including five original recording members — in a feel-good celebration packed with nostalgia, sing-along hits, and nonstop fun.
