Join us on Wednesday, March 12, for another exclusive film screening from the Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers!
With the ghosts of cinema past leading his way, cinephile and filmmaker David Redmon sets off on a seemingly quixotic quest to find a legendary lost video collection of 55,000 movies in Sicily.
For two decades, New York City cinephiles had access to a treasure trove of rare and esoteric films through Kim’s Video. An entangled mesh of media, 1990 zips to 2019, something forgotten, something found, stories made up, stories shared, Kim’s Video unearths the bizarre story of New York’s beloved Kim’s Video collection of 55,000 rental titles.
