Artsemble’s 3rd year of SWFL Mural Fest

Fort Myers, FL – March 30th, 2025 – Artsemble Underground is proud to present the 3rd Annual SWFL Mural Fest, a celebration of public art that transforms the streets of Southwest Florida into a vibrant outdoor gallery. This year’s theme, “Florida Environments,” brings together talented muralists to capture the essence of the state’s diverse landscapes—its oceans, swamps, forests, and cities—on walls across the region. A Growing Tradition of Public Art SWFL Mural Fest was launched in 2022 by Artsemble Underground (Cesar Aguilera and Brian Weaver) as a way to unite artists, engage the community, and enhance public spaces through large-scale murals. Each year, the festival has grown in scope and impact, with past themes exploring Florida’s cultural heritage and ecological wonders, and to fundraise to help artists after hurricane Ian. The event has attracted both emerging and established artists, leaving a lasting artistic footprint in Fort Myers and beyond. This year, four dynamic teams of muralists will bring their creative visions to life. The teams were selected after participating in the famous Artsemble Underground' "Battle of the Arts" Team Ocean – Led by Danielle Branchaud, featuring Heather Donaldson, Devin Donaldson, Nick Masiello, and Joshua Greer Team Swamp – Led by Arielle Katarina, featuring Whitney Hackett Team Forest – Led by Tracie Thompson Team City – Led by Jason Sanders Reveal Party – April 18, 2025 The festival culminates in an exciting Reveal Party on April 18th at 6 PM at 2220 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33901. This free, public event will give attendees the first opportunity to view the completed murals, meet the artists, and celebrate the transformative power of public art. “SWFL Mural Fest continues to grow as a platform for artists to share their vision and connect with the community,” says Brian Weaver. “This year’s theme highlights Florida’s natural beauty while emphasizing the importance of preserving these environments.” says Cesar Aguilera. Join us for an unforgettable evening of art, music, and community!
