Hand Carved Block Pritning on Fabric Workshop Saturday, December 7, 2024
Design and carve your own 4×6″ linoleum stamp to be printed with fabric block printing ink. Attendees will be provided one cotton tea towel or tote to print their stamp, but may also bring their own fabric items (up to 1 per person) to print if desired. You will be given hands-on demonstrations and assistance every step of the way, with lots of time for brainstorming and experimenting with print colors. All ages and experience levels are welcome, though we will work with a sharp tool, so adult supervision is required for children under the age of 12.
Things to Note:
• Makers of all skill levels are welcome. This class is suitable for ages twelve+, with adult supervision required for children under the age of 12.
• All necessary tools and materials needed to participate are provided.
• It’s helpful to bring your own simple image (printed or digital) or an idea of what you’d like to carve into your linoleum block!
