18th Annual Edible Book Festival
What does your favorite book taste like? Let’s find out at our 18th Annual Edible Book Festival on Saturday, March 28th, 2026 from 11am-2pm at Book Arts!
The Edible Book Festival is a family-friendly event that takes place throughout the world, inviting participants to create EDIBLE creations inspired by a book. Creations will be ranked by local ‘celebrity judges’ and the winning artist chefs will be awarded with surprise prizes. Then we eat our words!
Fun for all ages, in addition to the edible book exhibition, competition, and ingestion, festivities include basket raffles, literary vendors and hands-on bookmaking and printmaking workshops in our studio. Admission to the event is $5. Children under 5 are FREE!
Proceeds from ticket sales, entry fees, and basket raffles support Book Arts and our youth education programs, including Printing Partners, our long-term youth arts education program that introduces students to traditional and contemporary printmaking, bookbinding, and creative storytelling!
