Carols by Candlelight
The Women of St. Louis will present an Advent recital entitled “Carols by Candlelight” on Friday, December 13th at 7:30 pm in St. Louis Church, located at Main and Edward Streets in downtown Buffalo. Admission is free and all are welcome.
The Women of St. Louis are drawn from the St. Louis Choir’s soprano and alto sections. Together they will offer a program of lovely solo and ensemble carols for Advent and Christmas - all in the muted candlelight of St. Louis’ majestic nave. Featured will be carol settings of Samuel Scheidt, Gustav Holst, Charles Wood, J.S Bach, John Jacob Niles, and many others.
Please join us as we pause from the rush and the noise of the season and, in doing so, find the “comfort and joy” that comes with the evening’s stillness!
