Holiday Stroll in Larkinville
Take a Holiday Stroll in Larkinville on Saturday, December 14th from 11 am - 3 pm. Some venues open earlier and some later. Throughout the neighborhood find holiday activities for all ages, along with fun shopping at the shops in Larkinville plus an assortment of up pop-ups from local vendors. Flying Bison Brewery is hosting their annual Holiday Market. Santa will be available for photos and meet ups at both ends of Seneca Street, Paula's Donuts (872 Seneca Street) and the Hydraulic Hearth Holiday Garden (11 am - 2 pm)
"Kid Friendly" events include meeting Santa, decorating cookies at Meet and Eat Charcuterie, a children's book fair and food at LE3 Academy, family mini photo shoots at Bratts Hill, coloring at Buffalo Expendables, drawing contest at D.A. Taste and more!
Start your stroll with a free walking tour of the neighborhood with Explore Buffalo. The approx. one hour tour begins and ends at 11am. Meet in front of Bratts Hill in Larkin Square (745 Seneca St).
Carolers from The Charter School for Applied Technologies Mixed Chorus will be strolling throughout the neighborhood from noon to 2 pm. There is plenty to eat and drink as well. And of course, parking is free in the lots off Seneca Street, and Exchange Street.
When you come to the stroll, please consider the donation of an unwrapped toy for a child. Drop offs for the News Neediest Holiday Drive are in the lobby of the Main Larkin at Exchange Building, Meet and Eat Charcuterie and D.A. Taste. Toasted Buffalo is collecting toy donations for Oishei Children's Hospital.
Heading west to east along Seneca Street:
Swan Street Diner, 700 Swan Street: open 7 am – 3 pm. Stop by for breakfast or lunch during your Holiday Stroll. Purchase holiday cookie boxes baked at the Diner. Diner gift cards and merch make fun gifts! Grab a take out Hot choclate special to enjoy on your stroll. Open for regular dining as well.
Bratts Hill by Chef Darian Bryan , Larkin Square, 745 Seneca Street. During the Holiday Stroll they will be open from 11 am - 2:30 pm offering their popular Jerk Hut menu. Bring your family/ friends to have a holiday mini photo shoot taken by their onsite photographer! Shop from a pop-up with Buffalo's newest book store: Read It & Eat book shop.
Hydraulic Hearth: 716 Swan Street. For the Holiday Stroll, shop from the Pineapple Company with merchandise for a variety of local artisans. Santa will be in the Bavarian Winterfest garden at the Hearth from 11 am - 2 pm.
Millrace Commons, 799 Seneca Street:
Meet and Eat Charcuterie: Meet and Eat Charcuterie is a made-to-order charcuterie, wine bar and cheese shop and gourmet market. For the Holiday Stroll enjoy free wine and cheese tastings along with a holiday cookie decorating station for kids!
Magic Bear Beer Cellar, Millrace Commons, 799 Seneca Street: Beer store and tasting room. Magic Bear will be presenting pop-up artisans during the Holiday Stroll along with $5 brunch drink specials. They will also be offering Hair Tinsel from Sarah Braids and Tinsel. Walk ins can scan a QR to join a waitlist for hair braiding and then get a text when its your turn!
Blue Table Chocolates, Millrace Commons, House-made artisan made chocolates and chocolate collections. Lots of gifting options! For the Holiday Stroll, take care of all your holiday chocolate gifting needs!
LE 3 inc, Millrace Commons, Larkinville’s newest daycare site, will be hosting an open house for all perspective parents interested in childcare. For the Holiday Stroll, we’ll be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair inside the daycare, offering a variety of books for young readers—perfect for holiday gifts! Additionally, their sister company, HIVE716, will be selling roast beef sandwiches and mac 'n' cheese as a lunch option inside.
The Lounge Shop, Millrace Commons, For the Holiday Stroll, find a fully stocked store with gifts for eveyone on your list! In addition, they will be hosting a pop-up outside of their shop during the holiday stroll! Cottage Bloom Candle company will be hon site with hand made candles and home decor. Lots of Bills and holiday themed scents.
Breathe Organic Salon, Millrace Commons, Full service salon featuring Organic Products from O-Way.
Buffalo Expendables, Millrace Commons, Their shop features merch for the film industry along with creative offerings for gift giving. For the Holiday Stroll, they will have some Christmas movie themed coloring pages for kids or adults.
Toasted Buffalo, Millrace Commons, Featuring artisan coffees and teas, toasts with toppings, smoothies and more! For the Holiday Stroll they will have their new winter menu available will also be hosting a Children's Hospital Toy Drive that week/weekend! You are welcome to drop off gifts under their tree!
