Escaping to Freedom: Remove Fear From the Body, learning to protect yourself and others.
Details: Enjoy exciting and empowering drills that will teach you simple ways to remove fear from your body through breath and body work. You will learn three reactions to fear, what makes you a victim to crime, body reactions to conflict, the basics of holds & escapes, how to react to strikes and kicks, and how to prepare for attack. You will also learn subtle counter-attacks to protect yourself or others.
This class is for all body types and fitness levels. No martial arts history is required. Dress comfortably.
Includes: 1.5-hour Systema class with instructor Dan Lawson
Post-event: We will head to a bar or restaurant nearby to socialize. Everyone is responsible for their own payment if ordering food or drink.
