Buffalo Chamber Players @ Asbury Hall: From Sea to Skye
The Buffalo Chamber Players kicks off the new year with 'From Sea to Skye,' a program of chamber music from the British Isles on Wednesday, January 29th at Asbury Hall in Buffalo’s Theatre District. The concert includes works by Elizabeth Aitken, Arnold Bax, John Dowland, and Ruth Gipps.
The program features:
Elizabeth Aitken: Talisker for two oboes and English horn
Arnold Bax: Quintet for oboe and strings
John Dowland: Semper Dowland Semper Dolens
Ruth Gipps: Flax and Charlock for English horn, violin, viola, and cello
Doors open at 7pm, with music at 7:30pm. Full-service cash bar is available. Free on-site parking is available, along with ample street parking.
