Holiday at the Rich-Twinn Octagon House
Highlights of the. Octagon House Tours will take place on Dec 21st from 1-3 pm . The house was built in the early 1850's and has been completely restored It is the only standing octagonal structure built in Erie County in the nineteenth century. This 3500 square foot house has three floors plus a cupola. The building is of Greek Revival style, highlighting symmetry, proportion and simplicity, The cupola is Italianate with top-round windows.. It is decorated in Victorian Splendor. A donation of $5 is requested for those 17 and over.. On Dec. 21st Audrey Caya will be demonstrating quilling techniques.
