You’re invited to a special screening of the film Forgetting Christmas, followed by an exclusive Q&A with the filmmaker, R. Cadell Cook. After vowing never to return, a young woman must come home for Christmas to save her father from trapping himself inside his few remaining memories. This film was made for anyone who wishes to learn more about dementia and its unique challenges for families and caregivers, especially in the African American community where disparities exist. Registration is required by Monday, November 15, 2024. This free event will include light refreshments.
