Best of Brooklyn Poetry Slam + Workshop Series
The event is open exclusively to middle school and high school students who live in Brooklyn, or go to school in Brooklyn. Proof of residence, or school enrollment, must be provided.
Poets and performers do not have to attend the workshops to participate in the poetry slam, but it is highly suggested, particularly for new poets/spoken word artists.
Workshops will be 1 – 2 hours at Brooklyn library branches as follows
