Westmoreland's Winterfest Fundraiser

Get ready for a cozy and unforgettable evening at Westmoreland's Winterfest, where community spirit, great music, delicious food, and philanthropy come together for a fantastic cause. All proceeds from the event will benefit Westmoreland Sanctuary, supporting conservation efforts and educational programs for generations to come. Your participation makes a lasting impact! Highlights include: · Enjoy mouth-watering wood-fired pizza from a local food truck · Sip on hot cider, beer, and wine while mingling with friends · Listen to live music that will set the perfect mood for the evening Why Your Support Matters: The funds raised during Winterfest will directly benefit the ongoing work at Westmoreland Sanctuary's Environmental Education Center (EEC). With your help, we aim to add a public water system and bathroom to support our growing educational programs. This is a crucial development to accommodate the increasing number of participants and visitors to the sanctuary. Since its founding in 1957, Westmoreland Sanctuary has been dedicated to acquiring, enriching, and preserving land for the free use, enjoyment, and education of the public. The sanctuary spans 699 acres and serves a diverse community, including over 10,000 program participants each year. In addition to offering educational programs, Westmoreland also maintains over 8.5 miles of trails, attracting between 20,000-30,000 visitors annually. The sanctuary is a key resource for local schools, serving students from six or seven school districts, both public and private, as well as schools from New York City.
