THE SHOPS AT SKYVIEW TO HOST A HOLIDAY COCKTAIL AND COOKIE DECORATING WORKSHOP
The Shops at Skyview, a multi-level shopping destination in Flushing, Queens (https://www.theshopsatskyviewny.com), will host a Holiday Cocktail and Cookie Decorating Workshop on Sunday, December 8th, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. During this event, guests will join local mixologist Debbie Su Sung to learn how to make their own holiday cocktails with Asian-inspired liquors, homemade syrups, and unique garnishes for seasonal flavor. Sung is an expert mixologist and her work was featured in Forbes “40 Most Romantic Cocktails in the USA.” Skilled pastry chef Rocky Viniard will also guide attendees through the art of gingerbread cookie decorating, helping visitors prepare for upcoming holiday gatherings. Alcohol and cookies will be supplied (21+ only, valid ID required, while supplies last). Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased on the center’s website; each ticket holder will receive a $50 Converse coupon to use during their holiday shopping. On the preceding Saturday (December 7th), the center will also host a spectacular Tree Lighting Ceremony with a special visit and complimentary photo session with Santa Claus (pre-registration encouraged). And from December 1st through 24th (Christmas Eve), the center will host a Holiday Tree Celebration featuring a series of beautifully adorned trees decorated by retail and community partners each competing for a $1,000 donation to the winning nonprofit group.
